World's biggest lakes whose surface is so large you would believe it's a sea. Did you know that there are more than 100 million lakes that cover 4% of the earth’s surface? Some can be salty or sweet and artificial or natural. While some are big enough to fit an entire state, others are no bigger than a pond.
World biggest lakes - Caspian Lake
Although this large body of water has the characteristics of a lake and the sea, it is still the largest lake. In other words, it is an endorheic pool. Furthermore, its contents do not go towards the outer surfaces. It is between Europe and Asia on 371,800 square kilometers. There are five states on its shores. For example Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia. It exists over 5.5 million years.

Lake Superior

This water monster hides over 350 shipwrecks. More than 10,000 people lost their lives there. The biggest danger is longshore currents.
Lake Victoria
Victoria is the largest lake in Africa. Besides the second freshwater and largest tropical lake in the world. One part enters Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya. The largest part of the lake is in Tanzania, Uganda. The maximum depth is 81 m and the area covers 59,946 sq km.
World biggest lakes - Huron
The fourth-largest and third freshwater lake. To this lake belongs the island of Manitoulin. In other words the largest freshwater island in the world. The island itself has over 100 lakes. The area is 59,588 sq km with a maximum depth of 229 m. It includes the United States and Canada.
World biggest lakes - Michigan
The fifth-largest lake and the only one located entirely in the USA. The area is 58,030 sq km and the depth is 281 m.
There were several statements about the monster from Michigan. Some fishermen believe they accidentally filmed what they think is a huge snake that lives in the area.
